More wreaths?......

Yes I think I may be obsessing over the wreaths this holiday season! I am enjoying making these special cards to be given to my friends and family. So you will have to be tolerant until this craze passes.

I made these cards using Stampin Up products. I did have to dig out a few retired sets to complete them though :-) I am going to need to find a replacement soon for the grosgrain ribbon as it has retired now.  Until I run out I shall it as long as I can! Please leave me a comment. Thank you for stopping by.

Wreath

I have been wanting to make one of these wreaths for quite a while and finally ran across a bargain yesterday on a stack of sheet music. I cut my sheets down to 6x6 and patiently set about rolling and glueing each to a cut out circle of very vanilla cardstock. I then made a rosette from my lace border punch. Next I cut out 20 large petals from my Stampin Up blossom punch. I distressed each petal with a little crumb cake and then hot glued them to a small circle of cardstock. Lastly I spritzed the wreath with my vanilla shimmer smooch spritz and a little gold glow shimmer smooch. You can't have too much smooch spritz! I'd love to hear what you think. Thank you for stopping by. Cya soon with another project:-)

Hello and thank you for stopping by my blog to see what I have showcased from our new annual Stampin up! Catalogue. I know you have been inspired by Suzette's projects using the Kindness Matters stamp set. Hopefully I can interest you in trying something new.

I wanted to continue with my Christmas card making and to show you one of the best little techniques I have recently found on pinterest. I sometimes wonder how I ever survived without pinterest! My card is made using the ribbon weaving technique. It's so easy! With a couple of metres of  ribbon,Pearl Basic Jewels  and  a few Regal brads I was able to create this wreath. The card base was made using cherry cobbler and whisper white cardstock.  The paper is from  Festival of Prints Designer Series paper stack. I layered using Stampin Up! exclusive Two Tags Bigz Die and the Perfect Pennants Bigz L Die. To give these the finishing touche I stamped  Teeny Tiny Sentiments in Chocolate Chip.I think you will agree anyone would appreciate receiving a Christmas cards like this one and little will they know
how quick and easy it was to make!

The next project is another Christmas themed tag. I love tags. They are such beautiful little peices of art. I cannot explain my fascination for these little treasures they just make me happy. I used Twitterpated DSP, cherry cobbler cardstock,Antique brads,Designer Frames Folder, Two Tags and Decorative Label punch.  I embossed the tree and cut out using the large oval punch and then applied crystal effects to the image and let dry. Next I added the smallest pearls on the frame and a few for ornaments to the tree. I wanted a vintage Christmas tag but without the distressing this time. I am pretty pleased with how it has come out. I'd like to hear from you so please leave me a comment.

Seasons Greetings

I decided to get a start on my Christmas Cards. Last year I left it too long and ended up buying them from the store which must be a cardinal sin for a crafter! I am determined to make all of mine this year. These cards are very easy so there really is no excuse for not accomplishing my goal. The cards were made using what I had left of the Snow Festival DSP , whisper white, cherry cobbler, soft suede and baja breeze cardstock. A few Stampin Up punches, some adhesive , and ribbon and I have got my first three cards done. If only the rest of the holidays were so easy ! Thanks for looking. Cya soon:-)
