Simple and Sweet.....

Welcome! Today I wanted to make use of left over papers from the holidays.   Here I used the Kindness Matters stamp set to stamp my image in crumb cake. I attached the stamped image to a piece of Bashful Blue card stock then on to my base layer of crumb cake.  With a sheet of left over Festival of Prints Designer Series paper stack I punched a border and attached to the inside of the card. I then used the same border punch on the front crumb cake layer so you could see the contrasting paper. A steady hand to add all those Basic Pearls Jewels and the card is complete. Simple and sweet! Hope you enjoyed it and thanks for stopping by. Cya soon.

Triple Step Stamping

G'day ! I've been playing in my studio with the triple step stamping technique today. This technique is so simple and yet very effective. It's a stress free way to make a gorgeous card in minutes. The ink used is Daffodil Delight on Whisper White card stock. I layered the inked images onto Lucky Limeade card stock, added a Brights button and one large Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the upper layer and stamped the sentiment in Lucky Limeade. This is a quick and easy card anyone can make. I hope you like it and I would love to have your feedback. Thanks for stopping by. Cya soon.

Stampin Up chalkboard technique

Hello! Today I have been busy trying to master the chalkboard technique. I do love the look of this technique. Reminds me of days spent staying after school to clean those chalkboards. I won't go into the details of why I had to remain after class lol.

This card was made using Stampin Up Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade and Whisper White card stock. The images are from the Creative Elements and Kindness Matters stamp sets and embossed in white embossing powder. I added some white satin ribbon, Lucky Limeade Baker's twine, a few pearls and the card was complete! Actually this technique is one of the fastest and easiest I have learnt. I hope to practice on it over the next few weeks so please drop in again and see what I am up to. Cya soon!

New Year....a New Start

After taking a much needed break from blogging and crafting to spend some quality time with family and friends, I am back! I have had my head buried in the new Stampin Up Spring Catalog for weeks now. It's so difficult to know what to order so I have decided I need the whole catalog! Stampin Up has outdone themselves with the new product line. I cannot wait to get my hands on them.

Today I have been focusing on Valentine's Day.  I've snagged a bargain on some lip glosses and wanted to make some hostess gifts. So here they are!

My next project is this Valentine's card. All products are from Stampin Up. I used the Adorning accents hearts folder on crumb cake cardstock. Added a while doilie to the front, cut out my banner from some left over DSP and lastly stamped the Love image from Outlined Ocassions stamp set. Added some glitter hearts and twine to finish it up. Thanks for stopping by. Cya soon.
